Referees in the World Cup

Well, after my last posting about the quality of referees - I felt I had to write again after seeing the worst display of reffing in years. There I was, slagging off the refs from small countries and then what happens? A bloody English Referee nearly costs a crappy football nation their moment of glory. Graham Poll has never been my favourite as a ref but in this match - he was a disgrace. He missed two of the most blatant penalties ever - then booked a guy 3 times before he decided to send him off after the match had finished! As well as booking players for next to nothing. And this is the guy that was among the favourites to officiate in the World Cup Final?????? FIFA are an absolute shambles.

OK rant over - So glad the Criminals managed to get through after this fiasco. Would have felt really guilty to my aussie friends if he had cost them the match.

Keep smiling Berk - they are doing well. And Miniberk - if you ever find your way here - being in the land of Fat People right now, I doubt if there is even any coverage of the Football over there lol
